Top Recruiting Social Media Tools for Student Athletes

With over 890 college football programs nationwide, the most effective method for connecting student athletes with colleges is by completing the College Recruiting Questionnaire available on the respective college athletic pages. Upon completion, the student athlete is automatically entered into the college's database, allowing college coaches to evaluate these players based on the information provided.

However, social media has forever transformed the recruiting process. Social platforms like Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube are being used for connecting student athletes with colleges.

Over the past several years, we’ve evaluated these platforms to gain insight who’s the best.

We reviewed the following:

1.   Cost: most are free but some charge a one-time fee.

2.   Network Reach: We delved deep into the number of colleges associated with each platform.

3.   Seamless Data Exchange: How colleges receive your player profiles matters. We prioritized platforms ensuring efficient and straightforward sharing of your information, ensuring coaches can focus on your abilities.

4.  Inclusivity: Not just about Division I. We scrutinized platforms that promote all athletes, irrespective of their playing level. Every talent deserves a spotlight.

5.   Parents / Personal Feedback - We considered real parental and our personal feedback.

These are the top social media platforms to increase your social media presence.
