Berrien earns all state honors
- 8 Lancers all league
The Lancer playoff team earned a lot of post season honors, headed by senior Max Berrien's selection to the Honorable Mention All State team as an outfielder. Max and seven other Lancers earned all league honors. We are fortunate that four of these all leaguers returning next year.
Joining Berrien on the all league team were seniors Christian Peterson, Drew Larsen and Brett Deedon. Juniors selected to the all league team were Sam Kiesse, Spencer Jorgensen, Brad Birch and Ben Straka.

Our pitching staff should be in good shape next year. While we lose Drew Larsen to graduation, we will have two solid pitchers back who threw a lot of innings last year - Spencer Jorgensen and Nathan Rhueban.
We were able to work in a lot of other players who will be returning into the line up all throughout the year. After finishing in third behind state champion Thurston and quarterfinalist North Eugene, our returning players will know what it takes to recapture a league title.
