Can we improve on last years record against the 4A and 6A divisions?  Last year Marist and Siuslaw were a combined 4-0 against the MWL. Overall we barely had more wins than losses against 4A competition, going 11-9 versus the smaller schools. We'll have a lot more shots at Marist this year. Marist is loaded this year and should go deeper at state than their quarterfinal appearance last year.

At the 6A level, North Medford owned us, going 6-0 against us. Get this, Springfield was our only team to even score off of North Medford. The Tornado finished second in the tough SW Conference to state runner up Roseburg. Overall, we were 6-19-1 against ten 6A teams. Seven of those teams made the 6A playoffs. We were 3-5-1 against the local 6A teams. Willamette took one from the Irish. Thurston and North Eugene got to South Eugene. We have lots of match ups against South Eugene, but only a couple on the schedule against Sheldon as of now. But that can change if weather wipes out a lot of games and teams try and scramble to get in a few games before league play.
