2010 Record:
League 3-12
Overall 7-17
PRE - LEAGUE
Willamette brings a lot of experience back this season. They return three players who were in the top 10 in batting average in the league last year - Kuvaas, Svennsson and Urioste.
After opening up against South Albany and North Marion, they'll travel to Arizona to show off their bats during spring break..
LEAGUE
Willamette faces just the opposite situation of Thurston. Thurston opens each round of league games with a killer schedule. The Wolverines close each round with a killer schedule. They finish with defending state champs North Eugene, then Thurston, Sheldon and South Eugene.
This is a program on a huge upswing with four returning league all stars. Opposing coaches better be ready or the Wolverines will run over them.
The Wolverine offense went AWOL the third and final round last spring. Don't count on that happening again this year.
PLAYERS
Willamette is loaded with returning varsity players. Look for many more Wolverines to pick all all league honors in 2011.
Seniors:
Tony Svensson - Honorable Mention All League
Juniors:
Trent Waggoner - Honorable Mention All League
Sophomore:
Cole Urioste - 1st Team All League
Scott Kuvass - 1st Team All League
