PRE - LEAGUE
    Arizona or bust. Thurston opens with Crater, Pleasant Hill and West Linn before heading for warmer weather during Spring Break. After the Colts play some ball and realize their RPI rating is bonkers because they played out of state teams, they'll return to play always tough Roseburg before opening league play.

LEAGUE
   In a normal year, fans would think Thurston should have a cakewalk through most of the league. But the MWL sent three teams to the quarterfinals last year, and two of them were very young - Thurston and North Eugene. Marist moves up with several all league and all state players. Willamette's super frosh are now super sophs, and the Wolverines return a ton of talent. Sheldon is rumored to be tough.
    Follow the Colts first five league games and you'll probably know how the league is going to shake out. The Colt pitching staff better be deep to get through the first five games successfully - North Eugene, Sheldon, South, Marist and Willamette.
